Supply of eight (8) units CAT 730 off-highway trucks, CAT Bulldozers D8R, CAT Bulldozers D7R, CAT Hydraulic Excavators & CAT Vibratory Compactors undertaking Dam improvement activities, mine rehabilitation works such as drainages and road works. Recently, additional hauling trucks are fielded to transfer copper ore from mine crusher site to pier stockyard for shipment purposes.

This 5 year contract requires FRASEC VENTURES CORPORATION to provide the manpower, technical expertise and equipment compliment for the drilling, blasting, Quarrying/ Mining of Limestone, Shale, and Silica at a total monthly volume of 25,000 tons. FRASEC Ventures Corporation is also tasked to undertake mine road maintenance, waste dump and silt pond maintenance and Mine Planning and Design in coordination with PACEMCO technical staff on subsequent production operations.

Nonoc Island is a part of Surigao City, Philippines, which is located in northeastern tip of Mindanao where the mineral garnierite, an apple-green Nickel bearing serpentine formed as an alteration product of Ni-rich Peridotites, is mined for nickel. Mining activities in the island and its neighboring islands go as far back into the early or middle part of the 20th century.

Historically, the island had particularly undergone extensive mining operation for its nickel in the later part 20th century to feed the biggest nickel refinery in Asia also located in this island.

The present mining operations attempts to scavenge into the millions of tons of remnant ores of the previous mines where millions of tons of nickel ores was discovered and has yet to be extracted and sorted for a number of years to come at its present extraction rate.

Frasec Ventures Inc. was granted a renewable 2-year mining operations contract to mine nickeliferrous ores (laterite overburden & limonite and saprolite) in the 25,000 hectares mineral reservation of nickeliferrous ores in Nonoc and Dinagat Islands. This contract includes guaranteeing and maintaining a buffer stockpile to support shipment at a minimum loading rate of 5,000 wmt per day.

Riding on the expected rise in the price of nickel in the world market today, Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation (MMDC) invited FRASEC Ventures Corporation, a fast rising key player in the mining industry today that offers basically all mining services from mine development to exploitation, to develop for Nickel its high-grade nickel MPSA property located in Cabangahan, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur. For FRASEC, this project is a mega project with good prospects comparable with its existing mining projects: Carmen Copper Corporation in Toledo City, Cebu (formerly Atlas Mining and Development Corporation) for Copper; Philnico Nickel Project in Nonoc Island for Nickel; Wellex Mining Chromite Project in Libjo, Dinagat Islands for Chromite; and Pacific Cement Corporation (PACEMCO) in Surigao City for Cement. For MMDC, FRASEC started building haulage and mine roads, stockyards, settling ponds and a jetty in the third week of April 2009 with target completion on May 31, 2009.

This project, located in Libjo, Dinagat Province is a full scale mineral exploration and Mining Joint Venture with the Gatchallian’s Wellex Mining Corporation. Massive field works for Chromite Ore exploration and extraction started and is on-going since March 2008.

A total of 1,200 hectares of MPSA property is expected to produce a minimum of 5,000 metric tons per month of metallurgical grade Chromite which is to be shipped directly to various buyers in China. The Joint Venture is for a period of 5 to 10 years of mining operation.

Purchase Contract with PHILNICO/PNPI - Talisay, Surigao City

The project requires FRASEC Ventures Corporation to provide the equipment compliment for the material handling of 2,000,000 tons of iron fines from Philnico/PNPI tailings pond areas, activities include extraction, hauling, loading to barges/LCT and trimming of material.

This two-years mining services contract will start in August 2008 and is programmed to continue until year 2010.
